Bwin Sports Betting is the sports betting and gambling arm of Bwin.Party, the world’s largest online gambling firm. The group is behind major brands such as PartyPoker.com, PokerRoom and is the owner of the World Poker Tour, but sports betting has always formed the core of its online business, so it’s no surprise that it appears so highly in our rankings of major services in this category. Bwin prides itself on providing the most varied sports betting offers on the internet, with customers being able to place more than 30,000 different bets on around 90 sports and events each and every day. If you’re looking to enjoy great quality, varied online gambling with a major brand, then Bwin could well be the perfect choice for you.
Placing a bet with Bwin is simple and straightforward, making this service perfect for those who have always wanted to place a bet online but have never actually given it a go. Similarly, even if you have no knowledge of gambling at all (perhaps you’ve never even set foot in a highstreet bookmakers!), you can still place bets here as all of the major terms and techniques are explained in great tutorials (there’s one for first bets and first mobile bets, too). The easy-to-use betting dashboard gives you all of the information you need to make a good bet – including the names of all entrants, odds, timings, projected winnings and more.
When you have selected the event you would like to bet on, the great bet-slip technology helps you place even the most complex bets, quickly and easily, so you can take advantage of the best odds as they occur. One of the features we particularly liked was the ‘best-seller multi’ – an automatic feature that adds Bwin users’ 5 most popular picks to your bet-slip instantly, so you can go with the crowd and bet on what everyone else is betting on in the hope of picking up a quick win on the back of the knowledge of the whole Bwin community – you couldn’t do that at a high street bookies!
Probably the only thing that let us down at Bwin Sports Betting was the absence of promotions and bonuses that normally come as standard at many online sportsbooks. Unlike other sportsbooks we have reviewed, such as William Hill Online or our top-rated site, Bet365, new players are not offered a joining bonus or any other kind of incentive (such as a free bet). While players can enjoy a number of ongoing promotions throughout the course of their membership, these are not as numerous as at other services we have reviewed, so we definitely think this service is lacking in this respect. It’s not all bad though – the BInside members program offers some targeted special offers to those players who regularly bet with Bwin, so if you’re a regular user, there’s still something to play for. If you’re excited by the features and tools on offer at Bwin Sports Betting, we suggest you head over to the site and give it a try.
