CanBet is a relatively well-established online sportsbook, having been a fixture in this market since 1995. Customers can place bets on a selection of sports and events, as well as placing bets using the site’s internationally acclaimed horseracing betting service – perfect for serious bettors. With a range of great, easy-to-use features and simple technology, it’s easy to place a bet with CanBet, even if you haven’t ever done so before. If this sounds like the sort of service that you might like to join, read on to find out everything you need to know about CanBet.
CanBet offers users a small number of promotions and special offers that stretches their funds a little further. Users can enjoy a number of ongoing managers specials that coincide with many major international and national sporting events, along with a generous selection of money-back specials offered daily on sports games and various horse races. It was disappointing that new users weren’t rewarded for joining the site with a joining bonus, as is common at many other online sportsbooks, but we suppose you can’t have everything!
Although there are a number of features that impressed us at CanBet, there were also, unfortunately, a few things that let this service down. Firstly, we were disappointed by the limited number of sports betting options on offer here, with users largely being confined to football, rugby, horseracing and golf, with limited odds offered in a small selection of other sports. This means that CanBet doesn’t really stand up to the offerings of the larger, more impressive sportsbooks (such as Bet365 or BetFair, for example, both of which made it into our top ten in this category) and we’re certain that this will put some users off. In addition, unlike most of the sportsbooks we have reviewed, users of CanBet cannot play casino games, poker or other online games using their CanBet account. This is not as much of a worry, as we find that most sportsbook users don’t spend much time playing these games, but it’s certainly disappointing nonetheless.
While this service is far form perfect, we do think there is a place in the market for a service so devoted to providing professional, high-end online betting even if it does lack some of the polish and popular appeal of some of the more well-known online sportsbooks. If, despite its shortcomings, you’re still interested in giving CanBet a go, why not click through right now and and let us know what you think.
